The Job:
As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll be part of our PTA and Storage teams working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:
- Coordinates the readiness of all functions throughout the product development process.
- Establish and clarify product and program objectives and ensure that the development team has the guidance and resources necessary to succeed.
- Track and manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk and communicate status and drive development teams to achieve project goals.
- Build project schedule, identify task sequence, duration, and resource to perform each task, monitoring and update project progress, manage changes to the schedule baseline to achieve the plan.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products to market on vision, on schedule, and within financial targets
- Working with PE, Sourcing and Marketing to build product cost, investment plan and financial performance, monitor/control cost over life of project.
- Ensure project meet product quality standard, monitor those standards throughout project and product lifecycle, looking for continuous and incremental improvements to these processes.
- Ensures project includes all of work required, and only the work required, to complete it successfully.
- Develop mitigation strategies and monitor and report on risk levels to ensure timely resolution and project success
- Identify, monitor and control commercial, technical, or operational risk over the project life cycle, assess impact of identified risks, prioritize risks, and rank potential effect to cost/schedule/quality. Collaborate with team to find solutions to address risk, or escalate risk to management seeking decision to continue, re-direct or stop programs.
- Develop plans to close issues and minimize the effect on project cost, time and quality when identified risks become realized problems.
- Facilitate project weekly meeting, report project status on Product Design Reviews, Gate Reviews meeting to top management.
- Manage documentation storage throughout project lifecycle meet ISO Quality Management System
- Portfolio Management Awareness – Basic understanding of portfolio analysis for achieving strategic objectives given limited resource; Direct knowledge of project data used in portfolio analysis, its importance and benefit brings to business.
- Process Development Awareness – Basic understanding of process evaluation and identify shortcomings and potential approaches to bridge those gaps; Planning, managing and reinforcing change to achieve required project outcomes.
- Perform any other relevant tasks and duties as assigned by PMO Lead.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
- 5+ years working experience in engineering and program management.
- 2+ years Exp in PMO role
- Exceptional knowledge in project planning and management/supervision
- Good command of spoken and written in English.
- Project Management Software Skills.
- Open mind, good interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills.
- Working experience in the power tool industry is preferred.
- New product development experience is preferred.
