This role focuses on delivering high-quality end-user device support within a large healthcare enterprise, with a strong emphasis on Mac environments and endpoint refresh initiatives. You will deploy, image, configure, migrate, and troubleshoot Apple Mac and Windows devices while contributing to large-scale technology refresh projects. The position requires extensive hands-on Mac support experience, familiarity with JAMF and Workspace ONE (AirWatch), and the ability to provide exceptional, white-glove support to a diverse user base.
Responsibilities- Deploy, image, configure, and support Apple Mac devices in a large enterprise environment.
- Utilise JAMF and Workspace ONE (AirWatch) to enrol, configure, secure, manage, and support endpoint devices.
- Perform device refresh activities including equipment replacements, workstation swaps, migrations, data transfers, and user onboarding.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, application, and network connectivity issues across Mac and Windows platforms.
- Support both macOS and Windows 10/11 environments, ensuring stable and secure operation.
- Configure user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory and related technologies.
- Install, configure, and support monitors, docking stations, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Coordinate and execute large-scale refresh projects while maintaining deployment schedules and project milestones.
- Stage, inventory, track, deploy, recover, and document technology assets throughout the device lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate asset management records and inventory documentation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, knowledge base articles, and project updates.
- Provide exceptional white-glove support to clinicians, administrators, and office staff during device migrations and upgrades.
- Work within ticketing systems to document incidents, service requests, refresh activities, and resolutions.
- Perform workstation setup, cable management, and office technology installations.
- Escalate complex technical issues when appropriate and collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Ensure endpoint compliance with organisational security and technology standards.
- Strong enterprise-level Mac support experience, including macOS deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and hardware support.
- Experience working with JAMF and/or Workspace ONE (AirWatch) for device enrolment, software deployment, policy management, configuration profiles, and endpoint administration.
- Hands-on experience performing imaging, provisioning, deployment, migration, and refresh activities for large groups of users.
- Proficiency supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong hardware diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Experience tracking technology assets and maintaining deployment and inventory documentation.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills, with the ability to deliver white-glove support.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of enterprise desktop support experience.
- Familiarity with imaging tools and endpoint deployment processes.
- Experience with device lifecycle management in an enterprise setting.
- Comfort working with ticketing systems for incident and request management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Competence using productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel for documentation and tracking.
- Strong attention to detail when creating technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
