Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing processes, products, and services comply with established quality standards and regulations. This role involves performing inspections, managing non-conformities, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. The technician plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards. The role also involves implementing quality management actions, supporting audits, and contributing to the development of quality policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities

Inspection and Testing:
- Perform detailed tests on raw materials, components, and finished products using advanced testing equipment.
- Analyze test results to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues.
- Utilize various measurement tools to verify product dimensions, tolerances, and quality attributes.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct final inspections on completed products before shipment, ensuring they meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) for new products or revised designs.
Non-Conformance Management:
- Identify, document, and analyze non-conformities.
- Collaborate with teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify non-conformities in products, services, and processes.
- Document non-conformances and ensure timely reporting.
- Collaborate to investigate the root causes of non-conformities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Material Review Board (MRB) Support:
- Participate in MRB meetings to evaluate non-conforming materials.
- Assist in MRB activities and documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional MRB meetings.
- Maintain MRB records and ensure all decisions are documented.
- Monitor and follow up on MRB actions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Accurately document inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all testing activities for audits.
- Prepare reports detailing quality findings and recommendations for process improvements.
- Ability to comprehend drawing specifications, packing slips, invoices, and other customer supplied data.
- Responsible for reviewing product documentation, ensuring that all inspections and test meet customer and regulatory requirements, and issuing the Certification of Conformance (CoC).
Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA):
- Assist and perform root cause analysis of quality issues.
- Participate in problem-solving activities and implement adjustments to manufacturing processes.
Quality Management System (QMS) Support:
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality reports and documentation.
- Ensure that all documentation is in compliance with standards.
Process Audits and Improvements:
