Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, National Accounts Manufactured Housing role will be responsible for managing and optimizing all operational aspects of the sales process for a new business segment within the Digital Appliance (DA) business unit under the Builder Strategic Sales division. The role will oversee the execution of all of Samsung’s Manufactured Housing segments business. This role will command a strong depth in forecasting for the channel along with deep interaction across our Field Sales Network. The position will lead the channel and be responsible for teaching and communicating the strengths of the manufactured housing segment internally and externally to multiple audiences. The role will work cross functionally with our sales Account Managers across the country with manufacturing home sites within their territories. It is mandatory that this role be in the Knoxville marketplace.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Achieve current annual sales targets while positioning the segment for smooth execution and growth
Enable the Manufactured Housing business segment with knowledge about the Samsung home appliance brand, value proposition, performance, and features of Samsung products and services
Review products and packages with new manufactured housing sites and manufacturing locations
Develop and utilize in-depth knowledge and expertise with regard to all new manufactured housing customers
Execute regular meetings with assigned customer base, outside sales teams, and schedule appointments with manufacturing and site built locations
In-depth forecast and pipeline analysis created and communicated cross functionally
Product and training maintenance of varied manufactured housing showroom locations
Provide segment related competitive market intelligence
Analyze sales data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
Implement new sales processes, tools, and technologies to optimize productivity and pipeline management
Develop sales forecasts based on pipeline analysis
Create and track KPIs (key performance indicators)
Liaise between sales, marketing and logistics to ensure alignment
Skills and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field and progressive sales career experience working with the home building industry, preferably in the home appliance industry required
A minimum of 8+ years of relatable experience in sales, operations, or a related analytics role
Up to 30% travel required (factory locations, HQ visits, etc.)
Must be willing to report in to client site in Knoxville, Tennessee 3 days per week
Strong data analysis and reporting skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills (this role will present to Senior leadership at least once per month)
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Attention to detail and process-oriented
History of exceeding challenging sales quotas and overcoming obstacles
Known to be a thought leader within a high-performing sales team
75% of time in-office activities (face-to-face with trade customer), 25% in the home office conducting sales administration activities
Ability to build and cultivate strong relationships internally and externally
Possesses solid time management and organizational skills
Excels in multi-tasking, responsiveness, attention to detail, and follow-up
Possesses strong business negotiation experience
Self-motivated with the ability to perform job requirements independently
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Participates in regional or national segment trade shows<
