About the role

OverviewThe BI Business Analyst will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve analytics and reporting for the business. This role will assist in delivering solutions to give business leaders the insights they need to stay competitive and make strategic and operational decisions. ResponsibilitiesBusiness Intelligence
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and business partners to understand and communicate analytics/reporting needs, with a focus on enterprise/ERP data (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.)
  • Coordinate with business leaders, gather and define requirements, identify pain points and reporting gaps. 
  • Review BI/AI/ePMO intake requests, analyze and prioritize based on ROI, align requests and requirements with strategic business objectives.
  • Act as “Business Advocate”; manage relationship with business stakeholders.
  • Analyze and understand business process flows that drive analytics/reporting requests.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to BI team. 
  • Identify and collect specific data requirements from IT teams and business users. 
  • Create visualizations, mockups and dashboards as needed to capture and clarify requirements. 
QualificationsEducation and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of BI, Business Analysis and/or equivalent IT experience.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing industry a plus. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Qlik, Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements gathering. 
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Jira platform a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand business data and its various sources.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
