Year End Bonus

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience   
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications
• 3+ years of experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks 
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET/Core, C#
• 3+ years of experience with Data storage technologies (such as SQL server)   
• 3+ years of experience with Git code management, DevOps Integration, DevOps Pipelines, or other CI/CD tools
• 2+ years of enterprise-level Angular or REACT front-end experience
• Experience with Agile software development cycles

Preferred Qualifications

 

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 7+ years of experience with designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications
• 5+ years’ experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing REST APIs and Windows services
• 5+ years of experience with Git code management, DevOps Integration, DevOps Pipelines, or other CI/CD tools
• 5+ years of experience with Data storage technologies (such as SQL server and SQLite)   
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET Core, C#, Python, XML/JSON, XSLT, YAML, and PowerShell
• 4+ years of enterprise-level Angular front-end experience
• 2+ years of experience with Agile software development cycles
• Experience and knowledge of container-based applications in Docker
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging services such as MSMQ or Rabbit MQ
