Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Maritime and Intelligence Systems (M&IS) – West division is seeking an innovative Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join our estimating team in Huntington Beach, California. This position offers relocation assistance.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program

• Develops, prepares and validates estimates and prices

• Evaluates requests for proposal, substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposals

• Develops estimating and pricing methods

• Evaluates and develops cases

• Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, etc.)

• Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
• 3+ years of experience with government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g. Estimating system manual, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Procurement integrity, Export Control relating to development of cost proposals
• 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
• 3+ years of experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems, estimating and pricing tools and processes
• 3+ years of experience in performing cost estimating/pricing function
• 3+ years of experience supporting audit, fact-finding and negotiations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
