Job Description Summary

Student workers assist with workstation, printer, and software troubleshooting and maintenance. Students in this position will also assist faculty, staff, and students in resolving technology-related issues. This position offers opportunities to work with the latest hardware and software and acquire new skills such as troubleshooting and documentation.

At this time, we are in need of afternoon availability.

The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the job:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintenance on hardware in the academic lab environment
• Software and hardware troubleshooting and testing
• Updates and maintains documents using word processing software (Google Docs)
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have good record-keeping skills
• Must be able to work independently and follow written instructions
• Light clerical work, including mail runs
• Manual tasks involving light to moderate physical effort
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Education and Experience:

• Must be enrolled at Ringling College of Art and Design
• Experience with Windows and Apple operating systems is beneficial, but not required
• Experience with Unreal, Maya, C4D, and ZBrush is beneficial, but not required
