The Florida School of Professional Psychology (FSPP) at National Louis University seeks qualified professionals for the position of Adjunct Instructor in our APA-accredited Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program. The program is primarily interested in the following clinical psychology courses:

WHO WE ARE -  The Florida School of Professional Psychology’s Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology degree program is located in Tampa, FL and is the only APA-accredited PsyD program in all of north and central Florida. FSPP aims to prepare graduates to engage the world as health service psychologists. The program employs a practitioner-scholar model and offers a curriculum designed to prepare clinicians who provide scientifically grounded, theoretically informed, and culturally responsive psychological services. Combining a strong foundation in the science of psychology, close guidance in clinical practice, and encouragement of growth through experiential learning, the FSPP aims to prepare ethical, competent clinical psychologists who respect the multidimensionality of human diversity.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to develop an effective student experience for students.
  • Facilitate courses assigned by delivering instruction in blended and online environments.
  • Maintain current and active knowledge in the expertise area that is reflected in instruction.
  • Communicate professionally, relate well, and share a passion for college success for diverse learners.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with faculty to report student progress and obstacles.
  • Empower students to develop competency by sharing a passion for the subject and the skills.
  • Promote student success by showing flexibility in delivery and work schedule to provide student support, as well as, exhibit a passion for teaching and engaging students in the learning process.
  • Utilize technology-based teaching platforms, including an adaptive engine to aid students in the development of competencies.

EDUCATION

  • General Psychology, Non-Clinical; General/Assessment/Interventions; Clinical/Consultation: Required Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) from an APA-accredited program
