Job Description
As a Sr. PCBA Test Engineer, you will work closely with the Manufacturing and Electrical Engineering Teams to troubleshoot and identify root cause failures on discrepant production material. He/she will review data with the production team to drive improvements as well as coordinate meetings with suppliers to communicate root cause and discuss process improvement opportunities to mitigate similar failures in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Testing and troubleshooting PCBs for a variety of machines across multiple programs
- Writing test procedures to create a standard of testing for the PCBs
- Working with electrical engineering to find solutions for common PCB failure modes
- Designing and building test fixtures to aid in the testing of PCBs
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting PCBs using standard laboratory equipment (Multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, ect.)
- Ability to read and interpret PCB drawing and schematics
