At Paleovalley & Wild Pastures, the team is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to be a crucial player in their mission of improving customer experience and operational efficiency. As a part of this role, you'll develop new functionalities for both front and back ends, along with refining the current codebase to streamline operations.
Your main responsibilities will include leading and assisting with website enhancements and maintenance. You'll collaborate closely with the Design and Operations teams, contributing significantly to them managing the warehousing and delivery fleet. Your daily interactions will involve working with two Front-End Developers and another Full-Stack Developer, under the guidance of the CTO.
The three most critical areas you'll be responsible for include:
- π¨ UI Enhancement: You'll be tasked with adding and improving functionalities to the user interface, delivering a seamless experience for the customers as well as our own employees on the backend interface.
- π§ͺ Setting Up Unit Tests: You'll contribute to the stability and reliability of the platforms by setting up comprehensive unit tests.
- π Code Quality: You'll be responsible for delivering clean, readable code, and upholding the quality standards the business is known for.
The first few weeks in your new role will consist of targeted training to familiarise you with the codebase and the workflows for both websites, after which you'll start assisting the developers with smaller projects. Requirements
The Paleovalley & Wild Pastures team is seeking a dynamic, adaptable Senior Full-Stack Developer with a knack for clear and direct communication. You should be genuinely excited about problem-solving, with a curiosity that drives you to constantly seek out ways to improve our functionality for the team and customers.
To excel in this role, you, therefore, need to have:
- 4+ years of experience with PHP/Laravel, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- 2+ years of experience with Vue Framework.
- 4+ years of experience with HTML/CSS.
- An inherent ability to quickly understand and work with existing e-commerce codebases.
- Excellent communication skills, with an openness to giving and receiving feedback.
While not mandatory, experience with Tailwind CSS Framework would be a definite plus.
