(Junior) IT Service Desk Analyst

From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins works with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic and labelling is accurate.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong><em>How can you contribute?</em></strong></p><p>We are looking for a talented and motivated IT Service Desk Analyst to join a local IT Service Desk Team and support a strategic network project in various sites throughout both Spain and Portugal.</p><p>As an <strong>IT Service Desk Analyst </strong>at Eurofins, you will:</p><ul><li>Identify and manage Severity 1 tickets end-to-end, as well as alerts on major/recurring incidents;</li><li>Manage L1 and L2 tickets by solving locally or transferring to dedicated queues;</li><li>Manage IT and Application requests opened by sites;</li><li>Ensure the support of site openings and major works;</li><li>Maintain follow-up/recurring audit of main equipment and communicate alerts;</li><li>Capture site-specific requests and initiate necessary actions to get validation of the central IT;</li><li>Execute and contribute to scheduled maintenance operations, in coordination with the IT manager or correspondent;</li><li>Ensure productivity gain by decreasing tickets/requests volumes, leading to a good level of user satisfaction;</li><li>Provide improvement to Support processes to reduce resolution lead-times;</li><li>Execute, participate and report on IT &amp; Application project rollout;</li><li>Provide, install and/or deliver hardware and software;</li><li>Assist users on computer or telephony usage and on applications;</li><li>Ensure the right level of application performance;</li><li>Provide user/site local assistance to the deployment;</li><li>Ensure post-deployment support and reporting;</li><li>Contribution to technical and application documentation to improve the technical procedures and knowledge database.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong><em>Are you our kind of extraordinary?</em></strong></p><ul><li><p>The below technical knowledge is <strong>highly desirable</strong><u>,</u> <u>but not required:</u></p><ul><li><p>Network &amp; Telecom: WAN MPLS, LAN/WLAN/IPT;</p></li><li><p>Windows client, Smartphones and Tablets;</p></li><li><p>O365 full suite with experience in Enterprise Social Media.</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal communication skills is essential;</p></li><li><p>Strong focus on objectives and user satisfaction is key;</p></li><li><p>Ability to show leadership and autonomy, with good reporting skills;</p></li><li><p>Previous experience supporting internal client and operations is ideal;</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in a laboratory environment is an advantage;</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel in Spain and Portugal between 10 to 20% of working time;</p></li><li>Strong <strong><u>English and Spanish</u></strong> communication skills required (written/oral).
