Maintenance Technician IV - 1st Shift - Starting at $27.32/hr

What you will do

The Facilities Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring that the facility and production equipment is maintained in consistent, reliable condition to include preventative maintenance, light custodial duties, modifications, repairs, as well as basic trades such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, drywall repair, painting and carpentry work.  In addition, job duties include providing manufacturing engineering support to R&D engineers.

• Daily completion of Facility checklist, response to work orders, and complete forms for unscheduled maintenance
• Review Limble tickets daily
• Maintains Preventative Maintenance System through accurate logs and written records
• Preventative maintenance including HVAC system and controls, electric steam generation system, chilled water systems, air compressor, electrical rooms
• Notifies contractors for Preventative Maintenance needs
• Other duties as needed include: maintaining sanitation logs, roof cleaning; vacuum pump
• Works independently or in teams and communicates effectively within all levels of the organization

What you need

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance and manufacturing technician required
• Experience with HVAC preferred
• Understanding of the general principles of electrical/mechanical applications preferred
• Ability to develop and follow systematic troubleshooting procedures to address down time and equipment issues preferred
