Senior Full-stack Engineer

Sleeper is a rapidly growing platform for sports fans with messaging at its core. As a Full-Stack Engineer at Sleeper, you will be contributing end-to-end features to our mobile app. Our stack is React Native, Elixir, and Cassandra. Understanding of distributed systems is a must for this role.

What you’ll be doing

• Shipping end-to-end features in Javascript and Elixir.

• Ensuring your solutions are scalable to millions of users

• Work with designers to deliver products to end users

Who you are

• 2+ years of experience with client-side code

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience

• You make practical decisions and trade-offs

• You thrive in ambiguous environments

• You are good at anticipating things that can go wrong

• When things do go wrong, you act calm and think rationally

Preferred skills (not required)

• Experience with Elixir / ErlangVM

• Experience with Cassandra (or ScyllaDB)

Annualized Base Pay Range: 175K~250K
