We are searching for a Compliance Analyst to join our team to support Raytheon Systems sites that lie within the Mission Systems and Connected Aviation Solutions portion of Collins Aerospace business units. This position will be a key contributor to the Supply Chain Compliance team performing reviews and assisting with special projects of supply chain operations and activities to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls, risk management and governance processes of the purchasing system. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generally, works on some complex areas. Exercises independent judgment with some guidance in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. 
  • Supports leads in monitoring changes in U.S. Government regulations and supports work to align site policies, procedures, work instructions and tools to ensure regulatory compliance at the sites. 
  • Assists in preparation of formal written reports and/or conduct oral briefings on audit related project and other related matters to leadership.  
  • Assists with implementing inspection requirements for site purchase orders to ensure team members are complying with processes and standard work, as well as policies and procedures. 
  • Support process improvement activity to include development of tools and solutions to improve business results, this may include development and deployment of training for the purchasing system requirements, process, and tools. 
  • Responsible for providing input to lead to support decisions on the adequacy and effectiveness of purchasing system process, risk and internal inspection control disciplines that could adversely impact Corporate and Stakeholder value. 
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationship with Corporate, Business Unit, and Shared Service leadership to ensure understanding and acceptance of audit issues impacting business risks and controls. May interface regularly with middle and senior level management. 
  • Frequently reviews work of others. Acts independently with some guidance to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.  
  • Able to assist in the development and deployment training materials 

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  • 2+ years of experience in Aerospace Supply Chain, Audit or related experience 
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, advanced proficiency with Excel 
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some Procurement and/or Compliance experience with a working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and legal/contract terms and conditions 
  • Knowledge of SAP strongly preferred 
  • Self-motivated and a demonstrated record of accomplishments using process improvement tools  
  • Demonstrated data analysis capability and excellent written and oral communication skills are required 
  • Ability to work independently with some guidance on projects and assigned tasks as well as participate on cross-functional teams
