Senior Applied AI Engineer (f/m/d)

Taktile is building the world's leading software platform for running critical and highly-automated decisions. Our customers use our product to catch fraudsters, expand access to credit for small businesses, and provide frictionless insurance coverage, among many other use cases. Taktile is already making millions of such decisions across the globe every day.

We do this through a powerful suite of tools that combine ML/AI with heuristics and logic, flexible data integrations, and an overlay of data analytics. We see a high degree of control and flexibility as key differentiators for running business-critical decisions in the era of agentic AI. To help us deliver our vision, we are seeking talented and experienced AI Application Engineer.

As AI Application Engineer you will use the latest advancements in AI & Machine Learning to complement our powerful platform with custom AI modules and enable end-to-end automation for highly complex workflows. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, product- and engineering teams to ensure we’re leveraging our core platform and custom AI solutions in the best possible way to address real-world challenges. Your work will impact millions of business-critical decisions every day.

About You

• You have a background in AI & machine learning

• You have a strong backend programming skill set (Python, RESTful APIs, Databases, AWS Services)

• You have experience building & running scalable micro services in the cloud

• You’re a creative problem solver with a bias for action, eager to learn and deliver robust solutions fast

• You thrive in a customer-facing role where you solve complex technical challenges while engaging closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive value.

Ideal, but not required

• You’ve had exposure to the financial services industry before and you’re excited to solve some of the industries most pressing problems with AI (fraud, money laundering, etc.)

• Use the latest advancements in AI & Machine Learning to automate complex workflows for the world’s leading FinTechs

• Make a big impact by building apps & services that power millions of business-critical decisions each day.

• Work hand-in-hand with our customers all the way from idea to production

• Work closely with our product teams to develop and refine AI modules in our core platform
