Beta Program Manager<p></p><p><b>Description -</b></p><div><p></p></div><p>We are seeking a Beta Program Manager to support the execution of Alpha and Beta programs within the Collaboration Solutions business unit. In this role, you will prepare pre-release hardware and software for deployment, coordinate shipments to beta customers worldwide, provide first-level support to test participants, and maintain accurate inventory of beta assets.</p><p></p><p>This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to build a career in product delivery. You will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Program Management to ensure beta customers receive a reliable and well-supported testing experience.</p><p></p><div><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p></div><p><b>Device Preparation &amp; Setup</b></p><ul><li><p>Install, configure, and upgrade pre-GA hardware and software for alpha and beta use</p></li><li><p>Validate baseline functionality prior to deployment to test participants</p></li><li><p>Partner with engineering teams to understand build requirements and device readiness criteria</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>User Support &amp; Issue Triage</b></p><ul><li><p>Provide first-level support to beta participants during active testing</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot common issues including firmware installation, connectivity, device configuration, and factory resets</p></li><li><p>Collect diagnostic logs and document issues with clear, reproducible steps for escalation to engineering</p></li><li><p>Ensure issue reports in the beta platform contain all required information before routing to Product or Engineering teams</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Shipping &amp; Deployment Coordination</b></p><ul><li><p>Coordinate global shipment of beta devices to customers in alignment with program timelines</p></li><li><p>Track deliveries and resolve shipping exceptions</p></li><li><p>Partner with internal logistics resources to ensure timely and accurate delivery</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Inventory &amp; Asset Management</b></p><ul><li><p>Maintain accurate records of all beta devices, assignments, and current status</p></li><li><p>Track allocation across active programs and ensure hardware availability</p></li><li><p>Reconcile inventory at program milestones and flag discrepancies</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Device Recovery &amp; Program Closeout</b></p><ul><li><p>Coordinate return and recovery of beta hardware following program completion</p></li><li><p>Ensure devices are reset, inspected, and returned to available inventory</p></li><li><p>Support program closeout activities including final inventory reconciliation</p></li></ul><p></p><div><p><b>Qualifications</b></p></div><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred</p></li><li><p>Previous experience with hardware/software troubleshooting, technical support, or customer-facing roles is a plus</p></li><li><p>Ability to adjust to constantly shifting schedules and time demands</p></li><li><p>High level of written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to track and support multiple programs concurrently</p></li><li><p>Proficient with modern technology; able to learn new systems and tools quickly</p></li></ul><p></p><div><p><b>Required Competencies</b></p></div><ul><li><p>Curious and self-directed learner with a genuine interest in technology and product development</p></li><li><p>Creative problem-solver who adapts to the unpredictable nature of new product development</p></li><li><p>Customer-oriented with a consistently friendly and helpful demeanor</p></li><li><p>Detail-oriented with strong execution discipline</p></li><li><p>Collaborative team member who also works effectively with minimal supervision</p></li><li><p>Effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences</p></li></ul><p></p><div><p><b>Preferred</b></p></div><ul><li><p>Familiarity with beta program management platforms (e.g., Centercode)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with Unified Communications technologies such as video codecs, VoIP, enterprise headsets, and software (Teams, Zoom)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with project management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Smartsheet</p></li><li><p>Previous pre-release or beta testing experience</p></li><li><p>Familiarity on leveraging AI technologies for problem solving.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compensation and Benefits</b></p><p><span>The pay range for this role is </span><span>$</span><span>1</span><span>98,050.00 -142,150.00 </span><span>USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
