Maintenance II

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform skilled maintenance and preventative maintenance as required to support the Tubelite facility and production operations.

POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment.
• Perform maintenance skills related to:

Electrical

• Industrial electrical
• PLC
• Controls
• Instrumentation systems

Plumbing

• PVC/CPVC
• Copper
• Stainless Steel

• Welding/Fabricating
• Trouble shooting
• Pneumatics
• Pumps
• Paint gun/rebuilding
• Carpentry
• Communicate project/task status and hand-off to other shifts
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines run smoothly
• Enforce sound safety and housekeeping practices throughout the facility

• Other Duties as assigned
• Apply Lean principles in own work performance and drive Lean applications in company operations

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must have some knowledge on computer systems and how they run some equipment
• Advanced math and reading skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication required
• Previous maintenance experience required.
• Technical degree in Electrical Mechanical field recommended

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

• Must work at heights (example, working on overhead cranes)
• Exposure to noise from equipment
• Exposure to smells (paint and chemical fumes) – respirator may be required.
• Exposure to heat/cold/humidity (due to weather and also working above the paint oven)
• Sometimes working with dirty parts/equipment
