Summary

The Program Operations and Insight Manager, Sr. is a key enabler of operational excellence within the Global Program & Product Management Office. This role focuses on maintaining alignment between enterprise Program Management Office (PMO) tools and reporting standards and the evolving needs of programs and products across the organization. They ensure smooth execution of Global Program Management (PM) operations supporting KPI insights, toolset standardization, cross-functional integration, and lifecycle oversight while driving the introduction of new tools and methods. This role is essential to driving our vision of a transparent, data-driven organization.

Position Responsibilities

  • Drives the seamless integration between tools, processes, stakeholders, data needs, and reporting to minimize effort for our program and product managers.

  • Works closely with the VP of Global PM to develop and implement strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Owns the maintenance of Global PM platforms and tooling (e.g., portfolio dashboards, scheduling systems, risk and issue logs, project templates).

  • Coordinates intake, updates, and data hygiene activities for project and program records across systems (e.g., project portfolio management tools, road-mapping software, lessons learned, etc.).

  • Leads the development of analytical capabilities and reporting solutions to provide data-driven insights into program performance and market trends.

  • Develops data pipelines, automations, dashboards, and applications as necessary to support transparent

  • Translates complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders across the organization.

  • Assists Business Leaders, Program Management Offices (PMOs), Product Managers, and PMs in preparation for program and corporate reviews by providing automated tooling access, template material, and other content as needed.

  • Acts as a first line of support resource to teams adopting Global PM tools, templates, and reporting processes.

  • Guides teams in applying standards such as project health reporting, risk registers, schedule tracking, and resource planning frameworks.

  • Develops procedures, training, best practices, and other supporting materials to ensure adoption.

  • Works closely with functional leaders in engineering, operations, growth, finance, contracts, P&C, and more to identify opportunities to enhance collaboration with program management.

  • Collaborates with the team members to continuously gather feedback and identify improvements, new tool needs, training requirements, and more. Identify areas where additional structure, guidance, or templates are needed to support consistency in execution

  • Helps evolve the PM operating model by contributing to documentation updates, process audits, and training materials.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

  • Bachelors degree in related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience in program coordination, PMO support, project operations, or a similar role, with Bachelor’s degree; or minimum 8 years experience with a Master’s degree; or minimum 5 years experience with a PhD.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience supporting cross-functional teams across time zones.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Confluence).

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies

  • Familiarity with project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Clarity, Planview, Primavera, or similar).

  • Experience supporting product development lifecycle or coordinating across product and engineering functions.

  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for portfolio tracking and dashboards.

  • Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.

  • Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties

  • Displays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives
