Data Partnerships Associate
CARTOSpain (Remote), SpainRemotefull_timeVerifiedPosted 18 Jan 2024
About the role
Everything happens somewhere - which is why spatial analytics is fundamental to companies seeking to understand the “where” and the “why” of their business. CARTO is the leading cloud-native location intelligence platform, trusted by data scientists, data analysts and developers from companies such as Vodafone, IKEA, Decathlon, Coca-Cola and Mastercard to provide geospatial insights for use cases such as site selection, geomarketing, route optimization, network planning and much more.
With an exceptionally diverse team of 170 people spread across the US and Europe, CARTO (backed by Insight Partners, Accel Partners and Salesforce Ventures) is changing how companies analyze location data, simplifying how it is done by leveraging modern cloud data warehouses. Redefining its category, the company has grown rapidly in recent years providing a compelling alternative to legacy GIS software.
Data is more important than ever and the information distilled from it is crucial to make meaningful decisions. For this reason, our geospatial analytics platform is complemented by an extensive catalog of spatial data products from vetted premium and public sources such as Vodafone, Experian, TomTom, etc. Our Data Observatory (our data marketplace) allows CARTO users to enrich their data with the different 3rd party data sources acquired on a subscription basis, generating more powerful insights to solve their geospatial use cases.
To continue our growth, we are looking for a high-energy, proactive and smart Data Partnerships Associate who will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on CARTO’s data strategy and who will be responsible for collaborating with our Sales team in ensuring we help our customers find access to the most relevant datasets for their business problems. This position will be within the Data team, a truly talented and multidisciplinary team incorporating data engineers, data scientists, and data partnerships managers, where everyone brings their good vibes and knowledge - not always technical or data-related: a collaborative environment that yields exceptional results.
The preference for this position is to be working from our offices in Madrid or Seville, with flexibility for hybrid remote work. We are open to considering full remote candidates too.
