Job Description

The Mold Marker / Repairman is responsible for performing new mold work, work on rough or semi-finished castings which are made into completed parts, and corrections or changes on unused mold equipment. 

The Mold Marker / Repairman will:

  • Performs mill & lathe work: create molds, mold holders, mold bushings, round bottom plates, blanks, baffle holders, etc. 
  • Perform Bench Operations such as blending, shaping, matching cavities, making capacity corrections, necessary cavity relief and pantograph work where standard numerals and monograms are used.  

The Mold Marker / Repairman should have:

  • Previous bench repair, welding and mold experience  
  • The ability to use all precision measuring device
  • Machine lathe and mill experience.
  • Experience reading blueprints and drawings.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Able to work well with others and from verbal instructions under minimal supervision.
  • Glass Industry experience is highly preferred
  • Automatic CNC mill and lathe knowledge is desirable.
  • CNC certification and/or CNC experience is desirable.
  • Ability to pass a background & drug screen.

Ability to work mostly M-F dayshift (6am – 2pm), with rotation to other shifts and weekends for coverage
