So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.</span></p></div><p>Wolt’s Courier Employment team is building something that doesn’t really exist yet — a cross-country infrastructure for employed courier operations across multiple geographies. We sit at the intersection of operations, people, legal, and compliance, and we’re doing it largely from scratch.</p> <p>The function currently spans three countries (Finland, Germany, Croatia), each at a different stage of maturity and with different legal frameworks. Courier employment is managed in all these countries by a functional team handling strategy, structure and resources, and country-level teams focused on execution and operational excellence from the ground up.</p> <p>We operate in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of uncertainty — regulatory, operational, and structural. If you’re energised by the possibilities and want to be the person who builds the playbook, this might be the right role for you.</p> <h2>About the role</h2> <p>Croatia doesn't have an independent Courier HR operating model yet. It has support from the general employee HR team, great people working hard, manual workarounds, and a scale-up landing in the next few months that the current setup wasn't built to absorb. This role exists to establish Courier HR expertise within the function and build the processes needed while running the team's day-to-day HR operations.</p> <p>As Courier HR Senior Specialist in Croatia, you'll own the full employee lifecycle for a fast-growing courier workforce: onboarding, contracts, documentation, leave, and the HR side of a workforce that includes couriers relocating from abroad. This includes tracking of work permits and other integration and compliance related matters.&nbsp;</p> <p>You'll be supported by the function’s core team and leadership and work closely with your Courier HR Lead, the Workforce Ops team, Legal, and the sourcing agencies bringing couriers in.
