JOB SUMMARY

 

The 2nd Shift Color Technician is responsible for ensuring that bulk cosmetic batches match the shade of reference standards.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

 

  • You will batch shade matching lipstick, foundation, powders and other color cosmetics.
  • You will provide accurate review of batch color history and tracking of daily adjustments.
  • You will maintain color standards and renewals upon expiration.
  • You will make bench batches as necessary to support full scale batch shade matching, as well as rework shade investigation.
  • You will communicate with Manufacturing, Quality Control, R&D and customers as necessary.

 

WHO YOU ARE 

 

  • You can multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support multiple batches at the same time.
  • You have a high school diploma or GED
  • You have 3 years of cosmetic shade matching experience or 5+ years in related chemical or paint industry
  • You have the ability to see color
  • You have a strong attention to detail
  • You have a knowledge of basic math
  • You have excellent organizational skills
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have a basic understanding of GMP and ISO requirements
