 Talem Home Care is seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Lead Caregivers / Client Support Assistants in Colorado Springs, CO and surrounding areas. In this unique dual-role position, you’ll provide unskilled personal care and household services for clients in their homes, while also supporting our office team with scheduling, caregiver introductions, and quality assurance follow-ups. This person serves as a companion to clients and a liaison between caregivers and office staff, helping ensure safe, organized, and compassionate care.  Responsibilities:Field Caregiving (~20 hrs/week):
  • Provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking support
  • Fill in for open shifts, caregiver callouts, or introduction
  • Communicate client changes or safety concerns to office staff
Office Support (~10 hrs/week):
  • Assist with caregiver scheduling and phone coverage
  • Support new caregiver orientation and introductions
  • Conduct documentation follow-ups, check-in calls, and QMP tracking
  • Attend team meetings and share field feedback
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18yrs old
  • 1.5+ year of caregiving experience (home care or facility)
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, dependable, and compassionate
  • Must maintain confidentiality with client and agency information
  Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
  • Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, and squat throughout the day.
  • Ability to safely assist clients in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle.
  • Physical ability to lift and transfer clients
  • Use arms, legs, feet, hands, and fingers to assist clients with performing tasks of daily living.
  • Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking, and driving.
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Ability to see and hear well (naturally or with correction)
