We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Software Engineer- IOS within our engineering team to help support our bedding business. As a Software Engineer-IOS you will have the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team in a global organization. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by helping to build the next generation of smart sleep products and work closely with firmware and cloud teams to achieve product goals. So, what will you be doing as a Software Engineer-IOS?
- Work very closely with senior engineers to develop mobile applications to be used both by internal teams and our customers.
- Develop native mobile applications and libraries using Swift and SwiftUI languages.
- Work on App and code design.
- Implement unit tests as part of the design.
- Work closely with DevOps team to help maintain CI/CD processes.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology.
- 2+ years of mobile experience.
- Familiarity with and/or published apps to the Apple Appstore.
- Experience in create, maintain, and consume swift packages.
- Good understanding of Swift and SwiftUI languages.
- Experience in developing native mobile applications and libraries.
- Understand RESTful API concepts and development.
- Familiarity with git and other technical collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills (communication, teamwork, dependability)
Things we consider a plus:
- Experience with software development methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing.
- Experience with third party libraries either consuming or creating.
- Experience with HealthKit, Application Metrics, C/C++/Kotlin languages.
- Android development experience.
