What will I be doing?
The Senior Manager of Workforce Strategy and Innovation will lead efforts to modernize workforce service delivery, optimize systems, and implement strategic initiatives that enhance career pathways, employer engagement, and job seeker access to services. This role will work closely with the Gulf Coast Workforce Board and Workforce Solutions to drive workforce innovation, integrate technology, and strengthen partnerships that expand opportunities across the region.
ü Strategic Outreach & Engagement: Develop and implement engagement strategies to connect employers, job seekers, education partners, and community organizations with Workforce Solutions services.
ü Workforce Innovation & Transformation: Design and implement new workforce models, technology-driven service delivery, and process improvements to optimize career services.
ü Systems Optimization & Process Improvement: Lead the development of streamlined service delivery models, CRM enhancements, and clearinghouse systems that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of workforce programs.
ü Public Relations & Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to elevate Workforce Solutions' visibility, effectively convey workforce initiatives, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including the media, business leaders, and policymakers.
ü Employer & Community Engagement: Strengthen relationships with businesses, industry groups, and workforce stakeholders to expand career opportunities and improve job placement success.
ü CRM & Clearinghouse System Development: Utilize and enhance client relationship management (CRM) software to improve employer and job seeker engagement. Lead the development of clearinghouse systems that centralize workforce resources, ensuring better access and coordination of services.
ü Workforce Resilience: Lead workforce recovery efforts following natural disasters or economic disruptions, ensuring rapid response programs support displaced workers and affected businesses.
ü Targeted Job & Career Programs: Develop and implement career and training programs for high-priority populations, including veterans, individuals with disabilities, and displaced workers.
ü Public Engagement & Messaging: Work with internal and external partners to enhance Workforce Solutions’ visibility and outreach efforts through digital engagement, social media, and community partnerships.
ü Partnerships & Collaboration: Lead cross-sector collaboration with employers, educational institutions, economic development organizations, and workforce partners to align efforts and maximize impact.
ü Data-Driven Decision-Making & Impact Measurement: Utilize CRM analytics, workforce data, and program evaluation tools to assess program effectiveness, refine outreach efforts, and enhance career service delivery.
