Job Description

As a Security Guard - Armed Government Days in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist in emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures.
• Communicate professionally with the public, staff, and law enforcement as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
