The General Laborer performs general manual labor tasks; responsible for and will be assigned a wide variety of duties that will vary depending upon production needs and the department they are assigned to (Press Packaging, Sanitation and Mill).

Essential Functions

• Stacking Cases
• Manual Labeling
• Manual Packing
• Forming and Bagging Cartons/Cases
• Able to lift 50 Lbs.
• Able to communicate with Operator
• Inspect Product
• Manual capping of packaging/product materials
• Filling out Production Tickets/Recordkeeping
• Able to do basic math

Other Duties May Include:

• Sweeping
• Organizing
• Wiping
• Moping
• Washing
• Dusting
• Scrubbing
• Sanitizing
• Repack Operations
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and power industrial truck. The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
