ABOUT THIS ROLE

Associations International (AI) is an association management company based in Lexington, KY, who partners with non-profit trade and career associations. Our job is to help those non-profits meet their mission and grow their membership through the work of our talented, dedicated team. 


Our client partner, the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is seeking a Website and Marketing Intern to join their Marketing and Communications division. The Website & Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting the marketing and communications team with a variety of cross-functional tasks, specifically related (but not limited to) website and content redevelopment. The ideal candidate for this role will be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, communications, or a related field. The Website and Marketing Intern will report to the Digital Marketing and UX Manager.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Help with the development and implementation of marketing strategies and digital campaigns
  • Conduct market research, trends research and competition analysis 
  • Support marketing efforts through work in administrative tasks
  • Collaborate across the organization with other marketing professionals to best understand the organizational needs and how to effectively market for a client association
  • Attend meetings as requested by leadership
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing website performance metrics and key insights for review by the team
  • Assist in creating and optimizing website content including blog post, product descriptions and landing pages for marketing website project
  • Assist with organization and management of documents and images for large scale content updates 
  • Shadow roles across the team to learn about the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and/or other website platforms [LS1] 
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights 
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 HubSpot, Semrush etc. preferred
