About the role

Job Description

The Video Content Producer, Central Region, plays a critical role in building DPR’s brand internally and externally by surfacing and telling compelling stories about the central region, its projects, and its people. Through a close collaboration with the broader national and regional Communications + Brand team, this professional creates engaging video content for internal and external channels, including websites, blogs, social networks and the intranet while homing in on the central region. This individual will work on a bi-weekly newsletter video that advances our company culture at projects and offices across the central region. Additionally, this person maintains DPR’s library of video content and library of b-roll. A strong visual communicator and an energetic self-starter, the video content producer connects a variety of audiences to DPR’s purpose, core values, mission and business strategy.

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with the central region’s Communications + Brand team to develop bi-weekly internal video content that is useful, engaging, and relevant to the brand and our target audiences; tell the story of a most admired company through your work.

· Be a strategic contributor to planning discussions, demonstrating the ability to put forward tactical recommendations in line with strategies; advise others on campaigns and ways they can be driven through visual means

· Manage projects from start to finish, including using a RACI setup to include resources from across the team and other stakeholder groups.

· Create engaging and innovative video, while considering audiences and their behaviors, for a variety of channels including email, web, social media posts, intranet and other company information channels.

· Ensure presentation is consistent with our brand voice, style, and tone across platforms, while being clear, concise, and “worth watching.”

· Contribute and adapt to companywide editorial calendar and update schedule additions and changes; manage video filming schedule to create efficiencies across the team.

· Build a bank of b-roll and manage a library for it, creating an efficient video creation and editing process; share footage and capture best practices with other videographers and teammates.

· Ensure all content produced adheres to corporate standards, requirements (including music and imagery licensing) and operational protocols.

Qualifications

· 7+ years of experience in journalism, editing, corporate storytelling and/or a related field. Construction industry experience a plus.

· Adobe Suite Proficiency

· A keen interest in, and curiosity about, the latest trends in construction and a comfort with being on construction job sites where the work takes place

· A knack for telling stories about deeply technical topics in a way that is understandable and relatable to a non-technical audience.

· The ability to create, or oversee creation of still photography and videos as well as a network of professionals who can support this (e.g. production freelancers, location experts, etc.)

· A growth mindset and the desire to experiment with new and emerging forms of content in order to reach a broad set of audiences.

· A talent for collaborating effectively with a number of stakeholders, including senior leaders

· The capacity to work quickly and decisively to meet deadlines.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Salary is just one component of DPR's total compensation package.
Denver Pay Range: $83,353 to $142,890.
