    Job Description

    • Initiate and facilitate area business and process improvements in support business targets.
    • Analyze department workload and schedule requirements to develop execution plans, including manning and support personnel requirements and resource planning.
    • Communicate objectives, status, and other issues as necessary, including job performance, attendance, and behavior expectations. i.e. regular scheduled team meetings, and implementation of accountability measures as needed
    • Support/implement performance management system including identification and achievement of goals.
    • Ethically protect company resources and best interest
    • Develop, maintain, and improve positive employee relations.
    • Establish safety procedures to assure a clean safe work environment is promoted and maintained!
    • Manage multiple department resources in support of safety, quality, delivery, engagement, and cost.

    Qualifications

    • Technical or Business bachelor’s degree and 2 years leadership experience
    • Technical or Business associate degree and 5 years of experience
    • Similar industry experience required (Assembly)
    • Must have experience with Continuous Improvement tools & methods (preferred)
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
    • Must have understanding of project management.
    • Ability to give presentations (formal and informal to both direct labor and executives)
    • Must be within a commutable distance to facility.
    • Able to work in manufacturing environment, and able to be on the shop floor for long periods of time
