Purpose

~ Direct and lead all distribution and logistics functions for Hyundai Motor America. Lead operational liaison for HMA to HMMA, HMGMA, GLOVIS, and MOBIS for all distribution and logistics matters

Major Responsibilities

~ New vehicle Production Order planning and submission to the manufacturing plants.

~ New vehicle allocation throughout the Hyundai dealer network.

~ Interface with HMA Regional offices for all distribution and logistics matters.

~ Dealer and Corporate interface for new vehicle pipeline.

~ System compliance to ensure fair and equitable allocation of HMA vehicles throughout the dealer network.

~ New vehicle transportation from plants (domestic and import) to dealerships throughout the United States.

~ Lead operational liaison for HMA to GLOVIS, MOBIS, HMMA, and HMGMA for all distribution and logistics matters.

~ Moroney label compliance and printing

~ Executive reporting on new vehicle pipeline status (allocated and unallocated stock)

~ Effectively coach, counsel and develop staff; efficiently manage staff’s time, materials and budget while focusing on the goals and vision of the company.

~ Position has authority to approve and sign for all related issues.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred~ Must be a high school graduate~ Master’s degree a plus

Related Experience

~ Fifteen or more years of related experience with at least ten years working with an automotive OEM,

~ Direct distribution and logistics experience a plus .

~ Automotive OEM field leadership experience in lieu of direct distribution experience

Skills/Knowledge

~ Abiility to deliver complex projects on time and within budgetary guidelines.

~ Exceptional written and oral communcation skills.

~ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

~ Ability to collarborate with people at all levels of the organization.

~ Ability to manage budgets, payments and schedules.

$200,000.00 - $250,000.00 Annual

Actual pay will be based on skills, experience and education. Our total rewards package includes base salary, bonus and benefits.
