It currently encompasses 4 key areas: People, Finance, Legal, Investor Relations.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Reporting to <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/antonioariaslopez/">our COO</a>, you will lead the Finance Team. Your key focuses would be:</p><ul><li><strong>Financial Strategy and Planning:</strong><ul><li>Develop a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with QuoIntelligence's growth goals and industry trends.</li><li>Review, iterate and transform the financial modelling capability at QuoIntelligence.</li><li>Collaborate with the executive team to define key financial milestones and objectives for the company's journey towards Series A funding.</li><li>Lead the creation and execution of the annual budget for 2024, ensuring accuracy, realism, and alignment with strategic priorities.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Series A Readiness:</strong><ul><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to prepare financial documentation, projections, and presentations required for potential Series A investors.</li><li>Assess and optimize the company's financial processes, systems, and reporting to meet the heightened demands of Series A scrutiny.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Financial Reporting and Compliance:</strong><ul><li>Develop and implement robust financial reporting systems to provide accurate and timely insights to leadership and stakeholders.</li><li>Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and reporting standards, fostering transparency and accountability within the organization.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of financial statements, analysis, and presentations for board meetings, investors, and regulatory bodies.</li><li>Ensuring full compliance with tax regulations across all jurisdictions (Spain, Italy, Germany, USA) with the support from relevant consulting partners.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Team Leadership and Development:</strong><ul><li>Lead a team of two finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.</li><li>Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, enabling their growth.</li><li>Set clear performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and implement strategies to enhance the team's effectiveness.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Procurement and External Support</strong><strong>:</strong><ul><li>Review and improve the existing accounting / payroll consulting setup to ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and best practices.</li><li>Structure the procurement process and PoS with the right technology for streamlined and compliant decision making.</li></ul></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.</li><li>Proven experience (3+ years) <strong>in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, including startup or high-growth environments.</strong></li><li>Demonstrated success in preparing for <strong>fundraising rounds, especially Series A</strong>, and a strong understanding of investor expectations.</li><li>Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, with a track record of driving financial growth and stability.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of financial reporting standards, compliance regulations, and best practices.</li><li>Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.</li><li>Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate financial challenges and proactively recommend solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with relevant accounting and reporting systems.
