Description Overview

Perrigo is looking for Company Store Clerk based in Allegan, MI, who  will be responsible for day to day operations of the company store by providing excellent customer service and maintaining and organizing both the retail room and employee discount room.  Responsible for selling merchandise and providing customer services for patrons of the store.

Scope of the Role

• Opens and closes the company store
• Assists customers with product needs. 
• Monitors company only employee access areas
• Merchandises, stocks and prices products; sorts and handles products according to label information.
• Accepts money for purchases, uses cash register to ring-up transactions, calculates change for customers, and provide a receipt.   Utilizes basic cash handling, accounting, reconciliation and management skills.
• Sorts product into the following categories:  (1) Destroyed, (2) Backroom for Perrigo Employees, (3) To Be Donated, or (4) For Store Sale.

Experience Required

• High school diploma or GED with an excellent attendance record required.
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday and Saturday.
• Excellent customer service experience and demonstrated retail merchandising skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and strong math skills are essential.
• Must display professionalism when representing Perrigo.
• Being able to bend, carry and lift up to 20 pounds and be able to stand for an eight-hour shift are regular and essential functions of this position.
