SR. Sanitation Specialist (1st shift)

<p><strong>Pay: Starting at $30/hour</strong></p> <p><strong>Shift: 6am - 2pm, Mon - Fri schedule</strong></p> <p><strong>Come be part of our new project - supporting our sister company Tru Fru manufacturing within our Salt Lake City Facility.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The Sanitation Specialist is responsible for the detailed cleaning of the baking equipment and structures in a food manufacturing environment using specialized equipment and techniques<strong>.&nbsp; </strong>Sanitation cleans up after production shifts by breaking down the production equipment, scrub, scrape, wash, and sanitize<strong>. </strong></p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><em> </em></p> <ul> <li>Equipment Cleaning</li> <li>Facility structure cleaning <ul> <li>Walls and ceilings at heights</li> </ul> </li> <li>ATP Swabbing</li> <li>Environmental Swabbing</li> <li>Some additional tasks may be assigned, or some help requested in order to complete all costing related projects on time and distribute regular reports as scheduled.</li> <li>Perform tasks associated with general sanitation – to include: scrub, scrape, and wash equipment to perfect sanitary condition.</li> <li>Keep plant trash removed on a timely basis</li> <li>Follow sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)</li> <li>Perform assignments in accordance with established GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies and procedures</li> <li>Perform scheduled tasks on the Master Sanitation Schedule</li> <li>Sweep, mop, clean, and sanitize floors</li> <li>Participate in ongoing training sessions for the Sanitation Department</li> <li>Maintain clean outside grounds and office areas</li> <li>Clean and sanitize employee restrooms, break-rooms, freezers, &amp; ovens</li> <li>Demonstrate good verbal communication skills</li> <li>Familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product</li> <li>Follow work instructions and OSHA safety rules, including the use of PP and other safety equipment in an industrial environment.</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p> <p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.&nbsp; The following list that follows is representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>General understanding of manufacturing processes and rela
