About the role

Perform data analysis on customer data from various sources (CDP / Database) to derive insights and assist business users to make informed decisions. Design ETL pipelines to make data available in the data warehouse for reporting needs. Work closely with customers, vendors, business analysts and application development project teams to resolve information flow and content issues. Integrate data from various sources into CDP to ensure a holistic view of customer interactions. Ensure data quality and consistency across different datasets. Utilize the CDP to segment customers based on various attributes, such as demographics, behavior and preferences. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and personalized customer experiences. Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders. Document data analysis processes, Integrations and findings for future reference and knowledge sharing. Assist in designing, developing, analyzing, testing and reviewing the quality of existing data. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union LLC at 7001 East Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237. Salary: $113,734 - $150,250 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving data management, database administration, and data visualization.

Must also have experience in the following: 1 year of professional experience performing database administration and data visualization; 1 year of professional experience performing financial and quantitative data analytics including using data collection methods, summarizing, and presenting analytical findings, and applying statistical methods to real data; 1 year of professional experience using analytics tools including SQL; 1 year of professional experience scripting in a notebook environment, using R or Python; 1 year of professional experience producing BI reports using Tableau; 1 year of professional experience utilizing ETL or ELT tools (including Talend or Matillion) for data extraction and transformation; 1 year of professional experience using Snowflake SQL; and 1 year of professional experience using Jupyter Notebooks.

Referral Bonus - $500 (Subject to Employee Referral Policy).  Eligible to internal employees only.

Annual base salary gross:  $113,734 - $150,250 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
