Technical Artist Intern - Rigging - League of Legends

As part of the Technical Art, Rigging team, you will create rigs for characters and props. You will oversee tool creation and maintenance for all other art disciplines. Working closely with animation, modeling, and concept teams, you will uncover new ways to improve workflow and ensure functionality, consistency, and quality. As a support, you will be the carry behind the carry, helping hoist up art teams on the strength of your rigs and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Create various game-ready rigs for characters and assets using tools such as Maya
- Troubleshoot problems to help teammates overcome blockers and remove inefficiencies
- Participate in a culture of critique: communicate clear goals and outcomes, give and take constructive feedback, decide on next-steps
- Ensure rigging assets conform to strict technical specifications
- Communicate and collaborate with other discipline experts to ensure your work contributes to an optimal player experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college, university or non degree program
- Available to work full-time hours for 10-12 weeks remotely in our US based offices
- Authorized to work in the country that you reside in during this remote program.
- Experience with Maya
- Experience in Unreal 4, including Blueprint
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with rigs for characters and creatures of diverse shape and size (bipeds, quadrupeds, etc)
- Ability to demonstrate a rig’s range of motion in expressive, exaggerated, dynamic resonant poses that show good deformation and volume preservation

Production Operations Managers are accountable to provide VALORANT Leadership a consistent and maintained project portfolio, partnering with Production to ensure rituals, processes and input/output of project status is delivered to expectation. They partner closely with Production as well as Business Operations to ensure a consistent and highly effective communication program is maintained bridging both.
VALORANT is Riot’s take on a character-based, tactical shooter. As a Production Operations Manager on the VALORANT Operations Services Team, you’ll be responsible for helping Riot deliver a consistently maintained, managed and communicated Portfolio of projects and programs essential for VALORANT releases. You will keep the players' experience in mind as you track progress, manage programs, build and maintain Production tracking and communication best practices, and organize priorities and goals. You will work closely with all teams in VALORANT. You will report to the Senior Manager Production Operations, within the Operations organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work on VALORANT level Project Portfolio
- Work and align across multiple teams to lead social, commerce and other game features
- Accountable for the communication program inclusive of Production and Leadership
- Ensure team's work matches overall project priorities and goals
- Plan out and track development milestones and timelines, ensuring any changes are communicated to the stakeholders for cross team visibility
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a computer science, engineering, or related degree program
- Available to work full-time hours for 10-12 weeks remotely in our US based offices
- Authorized to work in the country that you reside in during this remote program.

- Experience managing complex programs that include processes, Executive level communication and production delivery challenges
