Job Description

As part of our Warfare Systems group, you will be at the heart of the "data evolution," supporting high-stakes missions in cyber operations, electronic warfare, and C5ISR systems.
We are looking for a powerhouse Lead Program Cost Control Analyst to serve as a technical linchpin for our most complex government contracts and lead complex program financial planning, forecasting, and Earned Value Management (EVMS). This isn’t just about spreadsheets—it’s about driving the financial performance and compliance that allows our engineers to build the world’s most advanced defense technology.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Command the Portfolio: Lead a high-performing team of six Project Control Analysts managing a massive portfolio exceeding $140M in annual revenue.
- Drive Financial Excellence: Mastermind the development of EVMS-Lite cost/schedule integration and baseline management to ensure mission success.
- Strategic Advisory: Partner directly with Program Managers and CAMS to navigate diverse contract types, from cutting-edge Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) research to Firm Fixed Price (FFP) development and production efforts.
- Insightful Analysis: Don't just report data - own it. You will identify root causes of variances, drive action plans, and prepare critical Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMDAR).
- Mentorship: Shape the next generation of financial professionals by coaching analysts on EVMS best practices and Deltek Costpoint mastery.
You will be required to work a hybrid schedule and be onsite at our Syracuse, NY location three (3) days per week.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Lead development, maintenance, and reporting of EVMS-Lite cost/schedule integration and baseline management activities.
- Prepare and submit Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Reports (IPMDAR/IPMR) and related Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs).
- Develop and maintain time-phased budgets, Estimates at Completion (EACs), and financial forecasts at control account, CLIN, and contract levels.
- Oversee financial tracking of product builds using WIP (Work-in-Progress) account, ensuring accurate cost accumulation for material and labor. Reconcile WIP balances monthly and resolve discrepancies between actuals and expended costs.
- Monitor inventory transactions, usage variances, and work order completions to ensure accurate of cost of goods sold.
