Quality Change Leader – Special Projects

The Quality Change Leader – Special Projects is responsible for developing, facilitating, and training on continuous improvement initiatives for Global Quality. Manage continuous improvement projects ensuring progress, continuity, and sustainability. Drive Business Process Improvement initiatives that have high impact on designed in Product and Process Quality. Perform as an influencer and coach functional teams and business unit leaders on transformation initiatives. Must be a great facilitator and trainer who embodies servant leadership.
This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Atlanta, GA with 50 – 75% travel required.
- Project Management for large scale projects to improve Quality Business Processes
- Deploys and implements lean and world class methodologies in departmental projects that are aimed at continuously improving product development, change management, and other strategic initiatives while eliminating waste and improving lead times.
- Conducts Kaizen events and Lean training across the enterprise
- Maintains lean implementation schedules for assigned projects, progress updates as required, and most importantly, creates documentation, training and standard work that ensures sustainability and long-term success.
- Provides training and coaching at all levels and functions impacted by the change.
- Interfaces with cross functional teams on projects addressing product and process quality
- Generates, provides, and participates in lean training.
- Where necessary, aligns and works collaboratively with IT to implement tools and information systems to create flow and one source of truth for data management.
- Assists in development and tracking of quality metrics.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 10+ years’ experience in lean office / business process environment with a record of proven accomplishments
- 5+ years’ experience in Quality and Product Development process management
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.
- Measurable degree of exposure to problem solving methodology.
- Must have experience in identifying areas of improvement, planning for and leading Kaizen events.
- Independent thought, good judgment, problem solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects a must.
- Must be self-motivated requiring little to no supervision.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field
- Experience Product Development and Change Management at multiple levels of the organization
- Master Black Belt with focus in Business Process Improvement or Lean Product Lifecycle Management.
- Experience in Graphic Design or Content Development
