Temporary Steel Drum Musician

Job Summary:

 In this role, you will share your talents and perform for our Guests in various locations though out the resort. You must be proficient and knowledgeable in Caribbean music and play the expected classics songs. Vocals are a plus. Applicants should have a show reel of their performance as well as an energetic, positive attitude.

• Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Protect company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Recreation Communication and Coordination

• Musical Brilliance: A talented drummer who can play fluently in genres such as jazz, pop, R&B, and Top 40 music.
• Stage Presence: Magnetic energy and the ability to connect with audiences.

Physical Tasks

• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 40 pounds without assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform 5 sets per day, 5 days per week.
• Strong professional stage presence and the ability to learn & master all necessary stage skills.
• Ability to adapt your performance style based on the audience and venue.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance.
• A strong musical background & talent.
• Related Work Experience: 5 years.
• Must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
