We are looking for an experienced finance professional for this role. The Treasury Manager Fleet Funding role supports critical cash management functions, bank account administration, SOX and internal controls, and letters of credit/bank guarantees.  In addition to working closely with our banks and internal business partners (including accounts payable, cash operations, payroll, legal, and tax.) The role is part of a small Princess brand-centric Treasury team, and entails working in a fast paced, high volume treasury operations environment. 

 

The primary focus of this role is to manage the current Ship Funding workflow and processes. This involves the forecasting and cash management of cash onboard all ships within the Princess fleet. The incumbent will coordinate with various banks to arrange scheduled multi-currency cash deliveries to the ships via several armored car courier vendors across multiple global regions.  Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for the transformation of the current workflow to progress workflow automation, analytics and enhancements to provide sr mgmt. real time KPI's, to better manage the onboard cash funding request evaluations and reporting.   

 

This role also supports the General Treasury team with processing Treasury wires across various banking platforms utilizing multi-currency payment types, daily cash positioning, and short- and medium-term cash forecasting including variance analysis. The incumbent will have oversight of bank account administration across a variety of countries, currencies and legal entities. This includes opening and closing accounts, bank resolution and authorized signer updates, researching banking services and diligently maintaining accurate bank account records. In addition to day-to-day treasury operational activities will also be required to manage various SOX and compliance deliverables, as well as Treasury projects and various other process improvement and strategic projects throughout the year.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage the existing vessel cash funding process, cash forecasting and variance analysis support, with oversight of one staff member.   

  • Liaise with individual ships and cash courier vendors as applicable. 

  • Coordinate with Corp Treasury & Shipboard accounting teams to drive automation & enhancements to the current process. 

  • Develop management analytics to support this function

  • Support daily Treasury operational cash management functions, such as: cash forecasting and liquidity management; processing/reviewing/approving high value wires; initiating FX and money market fund trades.                                                                       

  • Assist with bank account administration, including opening and closing accounts, signer updates/reporting, service changes and updates, and compliance reporting.              

  • Coordinate/lead/support periodic Treasury compliance reviews for submission to Corporate Treasury.                                                                               

  • Complete Treasury process improvement projects relating to strategic business changes. 

  • Maintain follow up tasks and project status updates. 

  • Perform detailed data collation, analysis and presentation. 

  • Action assigned Treasury tasks on cross-functional team projects.                                                                    

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration

  • Minimum 5+ years of finance experience in corporate treasury, preferably with multinational experience
