<span><span>Welcome to the Business Continuity & Crisis Management team. </span></span><br/>
</p>
<p><span><span>As a seasoned professional, you will lead and build-up a newly established civil preparedness function and work across Nordea in a matrix setup with other specialists i.e. in the Business areas and Technology organisation. Your job is to proactively lead and ensure coordination and guide projects towards ensuring full alignment with governmental bodies and other external stakeholders across the Nordics. This alignment is crucial for an effective response to emergencies, crises, and heightened states of alert. </span></span></p>

<p><span><span>Depending on the need the role might evolve into a team lead role with more employees and HR responsibilities as well.<br/>

<b>What you’ll be doing:</b></span></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span><span>You will build understanding of processes and dependencies and connect them to how these contribute to societal preparedness as well as how to enhance their resiliency further in alignment with the expectations from authorities and financial regulators. </span></span></li>
<li><span><span>You will establish effective partnerships across the organisation and externally to execute on enhanced civil preparedness measures, including managing budget, resources and coordination for potentially more parallel initiatives. </span></span></li>
<li><span><span>You will develop expertise in terms of knowledge and understanding of particularly, the processes that are most critical towards social preparedness, including but not limited to payments processes throughout the Nordics and their dependencies. </span></span></li>
<li><span><span>You will become a become a trusted advisor for Civil Preparedness topics by providing guidance related to procedures and interdependencies, while staying informed about emerging risks, industry trends, and best practices within Resilience.</span></span></li>

<span><span>The role is based in Helsinki; Gdynia; Gothenburg/Göteborg; Malmö; Stockholm; Warszawa; Łódź.</span></span></p>

<ul>
<li><span><span>Strong project and/or change management skills and enjoy working with process optimisation </span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Excellent communication skills and you are fluent in English and preferably also Finnish and/or another Nordic language</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Strong comprehension of end-to-end payment flows and as well as an understanding of the financial market infrastructure is advantageous.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Exceptional skills to prioritize evolving initiatives, and translate ideas and capabilities into initiatives</span></span></li>
</ul>

<span><span><b>Your experience and background: </b></span></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span><span>Experience managing and leading teams and projects in global teams, and knowledge about business continuity, security, compliance and/or risk methodologies</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Experience from an operational resilience related role, preferably within the banking or financial sector</span></span></li>

<li><span><span>Good knowledge and/or previous experience on the following topics would be a plus: Operational Resilience; IT Infrastructure;
