Position Responsibilities
Includes but is not limited to
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with benign and malignant breast conditions
- Manage patients across the continuum of care, including diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and provide patient education and counseling
- Conduct in-office procedures, including incision and drainage (I&D) and breast aspiration
- Screen high-risk patients and facilitate genetic testing and counseling referrals
- Counsel patients on breast cancer risk reduction strategies and chemoprevention options
- Coordinate referrals to supportive services, including lymphedema therapy and physical therapy
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- First assist in the operating room may be required
Position Experience Required
Prefer experience in surgical oncology or breast surgery
Position Qualifications (details here or list below)
-Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
-Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
-Active and unrestricted PA license in NJ
-DEA & NJ Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
