Pay Range
$102,400.00-$153,600.00 AnnualThis is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
The Senior Industrial Security Administrator position exists to implement and provide escalation support for IT manufacturing automation technology in partnership with JM's engineering teams and IT. This role is responsible for manufacturing architectures including data historians, plant control systems, inventory label applications, data historian architectures, Human Machine Interface (HMI) technology, plant energy systems and environmental systems.
Your Day-to-Day:
1. Technology Deployment: Lead deployment of inventory label applicators, industrial infrastructure, historians and other Industrial Systems technology;
- Responsible for data historian rollouts, historian optimization, control systems, and or Industrial Systems infrastructure.
- Ensures that architectures are documented and understood.
- Ensure training to first level support is provided.
2. Plant Project Management: Assist plants with large capital projects to ensure that Industrial Systems technology is functional. Projects are often complex and cover multiple technical areas such as network, HMI, historians, security, and control systems.
3. Operational Support: Maintains documentation for Process Control Networks (PCN) in all North American sites. Resolve possible root causes found in production environments. Establish practices for supporting controls systems communication and assist first level support in production outages.
4. Industrial Systems Strategy: Work with IT architecture groups, business engineering teams and the manager of the Industrial System Group to establish and maintain the global roadmap for manufacturing automation technology.
5. Engineering Integration: Builds relationships with plant engineers on projects and general support. Reviews plant capital projects based upon standards established between IT and Engineering
6. Engages IT teams in pre-engineering work for capital projects.
7. Helps ensure that shop floor systems are connected to historians and other IT systems 10%
8. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of IT experience with a minimum of 3 years Industrial System experience.
- Demonstrated business skills and an understanding of IT and manufacturing operations
- Must be an Expert in at least one technical discipline and have a solid understanding of a second one.
- An expert in a technology, has deployed multiple systems without significant outside technical assistance and has been the final point of technical escalation.
- A solid understanding would include medium sized deployments and / or support for a given technology. The three technical disciplines are Industrial Systems Infrastructure, IS Historians, and IS Control Systems.
- Industrial Systems Infrastructure.
- Experience deploying and or supporting Local Area Network (LAN) technology in an ICS environment (understanding should be at a Cisco CCNA level)
- Experience deploying and supporting Windows Server and Desktop systems in an active directory in an ICS environment. Experience securing an ICS environment using best practices in the industry such as ISA99.
- IS Historian / Wonderware Platforms
- Proven ability to deploy and support data historians in a manufacturing environment.
