If you’re seeking a career that offers purpose and aligns with your values, join us and begin your #Redcareer today.</p><p><strong>About the role:</strong> We are looking for a<strong> Senior Java Engineer</strong> <strong>(m/f/d) </strong>to join our <strong>Order Gateway Team.</strong></p><p><strong>About tech stack: </strong>Java, NodeJS, Spring Boot, RMQ, MongoDB.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>About your tasks:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Act as a Business Partner:</strong> Balance long-term vision with short-term goals by shaping the roadmap, translating business requirements into actionable technical objectives, and communicating their value to stakeholders.</li><li><strong>Lead Initiatives and Drive Alignment:</strong> Set team priorities, align them with adjacent teams, and foster effective cross-team collaboration.</li><li><strong>Own and Build the Order Domain:</strong> Design and develop scalable, reliable solutions for managing orders across complex system landscapes.</li><li><strong>Build and Guide the Team:</strong> Establish a collaborative, autonomous team culture, mentor team members, and share your expertise to drive innovation.</li><li><strong>Enable Other Teams:</strong> Provide tools, strategies, and functionality to ensure seamless integration and enablement across engineering teams.</li><li><strong>Ensure Operational Excellence:</strong> Define KPIs and employ SRE practices to ensure reliability, observability and performance.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>About you: </strong></p><ul><li><strong>Proven Experience in SaaS Development: </strong>You have successfully designed and developed robust, highly available SaaS solutions that address complex business requirements.</li><li><strong>Strong Java Skills: </strong>You have a solid background in building reliable and scalable Java services, with expertise in system and software design principles.</li><li><strong>Expertise in Containerization and Orchestration: </strong>You are confident in using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments, ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.</li><li><strong>API Expertise: </strong>You know how to design, document, and maintain APIs that are intuitive, scalable, and effective for integration with other systems.</li><li><strong>Business Understanding and Communication Skills: </strong>You deeply understand business needs and are comfortable spending 50% of your day in meetings, translating technical solutions into business value—and business needs into technical solutions.
