(GS) Prod Oprtr - Assembly

 

 

Role Summary/Purpose

The (GV) Prod Operator – Assembly will be responsible for building through-hole and surface mount printed circuit boards assemblies.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

·  Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) printed circuit board assemblies and chassis, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, drawing documentation, and quality workmanship guidelines

·  Perform manual placement and hand solder through hole components per specifications

·  Prep circuit boards for stuff line and wave solder

·  Install electronic parts, apply solder mask, and apply solder tape to boards

·  Perform Electronic Data Entry work into computer system

·  Be responsible for crimping, soldering, auditing workmanship, reading drawings, and schematics

·  Be responsible for navigating through an inventory management system

Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED

Desired Characteristics

·  Previous printed circuit board assembly experience 

·  Basic math skills to including; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  Ability to work in a multifunctional team environment

·  Basic computer skills

·  Ability to read and follow assembly instructions

·  Basic soldering skills 

·  Basic component identification skills
