Sr Events Corporate Specialist

Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Corporate Events Tradeshow Specialist who is responsible for supporting our Marketing organization and Daikin’s position as the premier HVAC solutions provider in our industry. Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN

What you will do: 

Trade Shows:

• Support Senior Manager on Corporate shows with full ownership on Vertical shows
• Manage internal website for trade show asset inventory and ordering
• Build and nurture 3rd party supplier relationships to deliver best- in-class orders
• Own and manage lead process for measurement of success
• Learn and become fluent on 3rd party supplier asset inventory software
• Partner with marketing team on social media and advertising campaigns
• Manage online internal website with updates
• Manage lead process pre and post trade show
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners

Corporate Apparel & Promotional Items:

• Partner with indirect sourcing team to manage the corporate apparel and promotional item offerings
• Coordinate with suppliers to customize branded goods, place orders, and manage inventory

Customer Events:

• Support the excellent execution of 50 – 1,500 participant events nationwide as needed
• Coordinate shipment of event materials to and from event destination, order supplies and manage inventory
• Maintain basic knowledge of Daikin’s products and solutions
• Administrative support to marketing and communications work streams as needed

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 6 to 8 years of Trade Show experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 8+ years of Trade Show experience or event experience
• CTSM certification a plus
