Who We Are

Golden Queen Mining Co., LLC (the “Company”) operates a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California. The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore.

Who You Are

You bring one to three years of warehouse experience and are familiar with crushing circuit equipment, including jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, feeders, gearboxes, conveyor belts, return rollers, and pulleys. You have experience in inventory management and possess strong oral and written communication skills. You hold yourself to high work standards and are committed to maintaining a strong safety culture. Self-motivated and independent, you work effectively with minimal supervision.

This is a safety sensitive position. As the Crusher Parts Expediter you report to the Process Planning General Foreman. 

What You Do

• Accurately manage inventory levels while maintaining organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in the crushing and operations supply areas.
• Conduct daily inspections of all inventory areas.
• Record and file workplace inspection reports as required.
• Monitor scrap metal and trash bins in the crusher area and report findings to the warehouse team.
• Maintain up-to-date forklift training and demonstrate competency in forklift operation.
• Provide 5000-23 MSHA certifications upon request.
• Complete daily pre-operational inspections on lifting equipment.
• Record and submit inspection results to the supervisor/maintenance department.
• Be available to unload trucks and process deliveries promptly.
• Stock inventory efficiently upon receipt in the Warehouse.
• Ensure all delivered inventory items are labeled and stored correctly by the end of each shift.
• Keep sea container inventory organized, with items clearly labeled and designated by bin space.
• Organize and label inventory in the process warehouse yard daily.
• Assist the crusher maintenance supervisor in gathering and organizing parts for scheduled maintenance and return any unused parts afterward.
• Ensure proper supplies and signage at all inventory locations.
• Ensure signage includes “sign out parts” labels and accurate labeling on crusher sea containers.
• Stock necessary supplies, such as clipboards, sign-out sheets, pens, and other designated items.
• Clearly label all inventory locations with inventory IDs.
• Identify non-inventory parts clearly by asset ID or purchase order (PO) number.
• Assist with the tracking of consumable non-inventory parts including counting and verifying against min/max levels and reporting counts to Process Planning General Foreman to issue re-orders, as necessary. 
• Tag all parts being sent for rebuild correctly and coordinate shipments with the warehouse.
