CAMS is on the search for a Part-time On-site Assistant Community Manager to aid in the management of a community located in Raleigh, NC. Prior HOA or property management experience is preferred. 


The position is Part-Time, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and the pay range is $20 to $23 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Community Manager in all aspects of the job
  • Provide coverage to front desk as needed
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support 
  • Assist with communication with Board of Directors and Committee Chairs
  • Schedule / prepare for and attend regular board meetings (quarterly)
  • Act as Recording Secretary and distribute meeting minutes
  • Administer Association website and post documents accordingly 
  • Attend Management firm meetings, as necessary 
  • Maintain communication with homeowners 
  • Review and process all owner inquiries 
  • Maintain entry system: assign amenity entry key fobs and entry gate information 
  • Maintain office inventory and order supplies, as necessary
  • Maintain physical appearance of the on-site office
  • Contribute to monthly management reports, on an as needed basis
  • Assist with the ARC Modification process 
  • Receive and submit forms for approval 
  • Communicate with owner during ARC Modification process 
  • Contact and assist vendors for community maintenance and special projects
  • Request proposals for services and follow up 
  • Report and communicate any equipment repair /maintenance services
  • Assist with community compliance inspections to common areas to ensure proper care and maintenance of same
  • Ensure adherence to the quality standard and health and safety regulations necessary for the Master/Amenity Associations

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Able to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Eye for detail
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities
  • Understanding of budgeting and performance management, some accounting.
  • Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
