OnsiteThe Precision Navigation (PNav) Hardware department is seeking an electrical engineer to join the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) Mechanical and RF section. The candidate would primarily support all contracts on the ATNAVICS program. What You Will Do:
The electrical engineering intern will be a hardware team member and will become familiar with the following areas:
Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) and SystemVue RF design software
PWB design using ADS or Mentor Expedition, which will include schematic capture and PWB layout
Hardware Design and Documentation Updates
CCA test and Evaluation, including use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, etc.
COTS integration
What You Will Learn:
CCA Design Process
PWB manufacturing process
Test equipment functions
Resolution of Hardware performance issues,
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Proficient knowledge in use of Microsoft Office Products
Good written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and demonstrates history of working well in a team environment
